PlayOn Update Brings Hulu, Netflix and More to the iPhone and iPod touch

Stream Personal Media and Online Videos from Various Providers with a PlayOn Account

SEATTLE – August 3, 2010 – MediaMall Technologies, Inc. today announced a free software update for PlayOn™ Premium to stream online video and personal media content to the iPhone and iPod touch using the Safari web browser. With existing compatibility for Wii, Xbox 360 and PlayStation3, among various other DLNA/UPnP-compliant devices and apps, the latest update allows PlayOn users to stream the service’s full library of online video content anytime and anywhere there is a 3G or Wi-Fi connection. Content providers currently include Hulu, Netflix, YouTube, Comedy Central, Amazon VOD, CBS, ESPN and others.

Existing PlayOn Premium subscribers will have the ability to download the update and begin streaming videos to their iPhone and iPod touch right away. Customers new to the PlayOn experience can try the service free for 14 days, after which a subscription will be required for only $39.99 for the first year and $19.99 for each year thereafter. PlayOn Basic customers will be required to upgrade to Premium to take advantage of the new feature.
